I got my copy a few days ago and can't wait to try some new recipes this weekend. My girlfriends and I are getting together early next month and I just know they will love to try some of the delicious appetizers and desserts.Besides her culinary skills, her amazing photo shots, her life at the ranch and the great contest/weekly prizes (no, I haven't win anything.....yet), tutorials on how to do this, and how to do that, she is an amazing woman. Did I mention she is extremely funny, compassionate, loves her kids/punks, cows, dogs and calf nuts? Like she says on her blog "Plowing through life in the country....one calf nut at a time".
She was recently promoting her cookbook near my hometown but unfortunately I was stuck at work and couldn't attend the signing. Hey, someone has to work in order to get some presents like this!
The cookbook has become a best seller in the last few weeks or so after the released. And, I bet it will be a great Christmas present to anyone. Blink, blink!
Note: pioneer woman did not pay me to promote her or her cookbook. Actually, she doesn't even know me! HA!

So you haven't won a mixer or set of cookware yet either? I got totally lucky and won a copy of her cookbook from a friend's giveaway ~ it arrived today in the mail and I totally can't wait to tear through it!
