This month at "we picture {this} a mamarazzi blog", the theme is black and white. I always like photography but have never pursue it as a hobby. Now, I have the perfect excuse and model for this my new long term hobby to go along with my scrapbooking. Taking photos captures the right moment in time and I can always go back and re-live those times with my pictures.
The picture was taken last fall while my brother was visiting. I borrowed his camera (his is nicer than mine!) and just played with the settings. I did crop and convert the picture to B&W on Photoshop. I like how soft her face looks and who knows what was she thinking!
Camera: Nikon D300
Lens: Nikkor 55mm
Mode: Aperture
Exposure: 1/250
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 200
This second picture was taken last summer while Emily was blowing bubbles on the back deck. It was earlier in the morning, around 9am. She was so exited to be playing with bubbles and that excitement showed on her face.
Camera: Nikon D40
Lens: Nikkor 55mm
Mode: Aperture
Exposure: 1/125
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 200
These pictures are my contribuition to the theme B&W. If you're interested, you can check out the link below. I'm sure will learn tons of tips from the people there.
